Obama's Stimulus - A virus to Health Care

This Bloomberg article hits close to home. I work in the computer rental industry, one sector of our business is renting equipment to pharmaceutical companies that are marketing their new products. Sounds like the stimulus plan as written will hinder the development of new drugs and procedures because the Governing body won’t allow their use. The goal is to slow the development and use of new medications and technologies because they are driving up costs.

Read this on Bloomberg and then WAKE UP AMERICA, contact your senators. Ask them if that sounds like a “Stimulus Plan” to them.

Are you a Teach Travel Agent because Google says so?

First of all a quick thanks to my longtime friend and associate Bill Schiering for his invitation to post on his blog while he is out this week wrapping up one last summer vacation. Thought I am no fan of motorcycles or fishing for that matter, I thought I would write about something related to technology that we do have in common. That thing is Google and Computer Rentals.

If you were not aware Bill Schiering is the Vice President of www.rentacomputer.com and he has done a great job over the years with the firms internet marekting.

Today I was looking over his many websites that explain his unique approace to this concept. That is that Tech Travel Agents are who you call to book / reserve short term technolgy rentals anywhere in the US, or Canada. Much like a traditional travel agent a Tech Travel Agent makes sure you have the short term computer or audio visual hardware at the right spot to make your event or trip a successful one.

Bill has even created a website just for the concept. The website is curently doing quite well in Google for the serach term “Computer Rentals”. Which, being just a small website, goes to show what a good job Bill has done to promote it.

The success of this concept has in my opinion been made possible by the multiple layers of interrelated event rental blogs and PC Rental websites that each in their own wey help explain and promote the relationship between computer rentals and Tech Travel Agetns.

This of course brings me back to the point of this article, and the reality that Bill may have become the victium of his own success and truely become what Google says he is. As this Google result illustrates “Contact Me! I'm your Technology Travel Agent... Bill Schiering”

Hello and welcome to my blog. If you already know me or have had a minute to glance at my BIO you will understand why my blog is full of posts about computer rentals and security cameras. Those posts will be coming from my daily experiences as the Vice President of a nationwide computer rental firm and its sister company that specializes in computer based security cameras.
