Server Sales Down

Server revenues fell in the 3rd quarter as companies are preserving cash and putting off larger IT expenses. You can only put off these expenses for so long, before it becomes a necessity.

IBM is still on top, followed closely by HP and then Dell.

Sun lost the most revenues

“Arab world hails shoe attack” - BFD!

I read on the Drudge Report how the “Arab world hails shoe attack”. That’s all you can find in the news media, how the Arab’s are applauding this “Insult”. Is that all the balls that Zaidi has? Throwing Shoes?

The fact that this Iraq journalist threw his shoes at our president does not bother me nearly as bad as the fact that the people in the US in general and our Journalists in particular are not up in arms about an insult to OUR PRESIDENT!

You can like President Bush or hate him, does not matter to me, but he is still THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! His title alone, not to mention the Office he holds deserves the respect of every citizen of the USA. There should be outrage pouring forth from every Man, Woman and Children in the US, every Journalist, News Caster and especially the Late Night Morons. Instead of parodying President Bush, they should be making fun of the Arabs for such a worthless insult. Oh, I forgot, it’s not Politically Correct to make fun of Arabs. Well I got news for you, in my little part of this world, it’s not politically correct for the Arabs to behead our troops and civilians and then party around in the street dragging their headless bodies and act like they have done something special.

“We the People of the United States of America” have lost our spines, balls and PRIDE somewhere between September 11th, 2001 and today.

And it sickens me.

What a pile of Dung

I don’t get on a soap box often, but read this article. It is about regulating and taxing farmers for stinky live stock and it is absolutely ridiculous. How could any political appointee seriously propose legislation that is so stupid as this? How can a person look someone in the face and say that we need to regulate pig farts? How can the kids of these morons even go to school, can you imagine what you would have said to your buddy if his dad was really behind a proposal this ludicrous? I would rather waller around in a pig sty all day long than to spend 30 seconds in a room with these buffoons. I would be afraid that if I breathed any air they expelled, the stupidity would seep down into my lungs.

The world is going to hell in a hand basket, our economy is in the crapper, we have serious problems to deal with and all the rocket scientists at the EPA can come up with is a proposal that will bankrupt our farmers just to make tax revenue on Cow Farts under the guise of global warming and being green. You have got to be kidding me.

I say the hell with the EPA, we need a CPA (Citizen Protection Agency), Chuck Norris can head it up, or Ted Nugent or Tom Selleck, someone with common sense who can kick ass and take names, or swing into a press conference on a rope. (not really sure about common sense and the Motor City Madman, but I love his firm stance on gun control – to hit at what you aim).

I will tell you one thing, if president elect Obama has any cojones, he will fire all of the EPA administrators and appoint people with a little bit of common sense.

I will tell you another thing, all of these tax and spend politicians need to break out the history book and brush up on the Boston Tea Party. Those days may not be too far around the corner, ask any gun dealer, go try to buy ammunition, the populace is arming itself faster than anytime in history.

I will stop with this last truism – Al Gore is a putz and if we can stifle the silly ideas of fools like this, we may have a fighting chance to come out of this mess on the winning side.

Too bad it is below freezing outside, I could really use a ride on the Road King to calm settle down

Age old question: Do it all or find a niche

That question continues to pop up in our CameraSecurityNow.com business. We start to specialize in one area and then a new product or a new application for an old product comes out and we start working in that directions. Here is a forum for discussion on the subject, Tech-Army.org Camera Security Systems Blog Forum but I am not sure if it is possible to specialize in one area if you want to keep up with the technology.
